Northern Michigan, here we come! At 6:30 am on Monday, May 10th, the eighth grade girls gathered onto the boarder bus and set off for Mackinac Island.  After a four hour bus ride, we boarded the ferry to the island. While we were there, we enjoyed touring the fort, attending a dance, snacking on ice cream and fudge, biking, shopping and much more. At the Grand Hotel, we also heard a talk by Chuck Gaidica on his vast experiences in the weather field, and Johnnie Tuitel on the importance of following your dreams. We also had a chance to visit Cross in the Woods in Indian River on the way home. This was an amazing trip which will hopefully continue to be a great tradition at Everest Academy!
