“Another great win boys. As I said earlier, “you amaze me!” We could have easily folded after they got within 1 point at the end of the 3rd, but you didn’t. You “did the work” you needed to do – You scored 8 unanswered points – then managed the clock in the final 5 minutes to “get the work done” and win by 10.
To all the fans, THANK YOU!! My team is so fortunate to have the support of the students, parents and Everest Staff. Your continued support is what makes Everest such a special place. I have watched hundreds of high school basketball games over the years where the only people in the crowd were parents of the players. To be able to look up and see parents of Academy students, grandparents of basketball players and cheerleaders, boarders, teachers and administrators, it makes me proud to be a part of Everest. I just wish the people who doubted our high school would give their child the “True High School Experience” could see that our students aren’t only getting a “True High School Experience,” they are getting SO MUCH MORE!
